Artist Kieran Walsh brings his work together in this pop-up residency this September to share recent portraits and landscapes. The paintings reflect a deep connection to Plymouth’s people and places as he prepares to leave the city. It’s a fond farewell for now, but by no means a goodbye.

Artist Megan Robertson will be popping up at the Project space over the coming months. On Sat 27 September (11am-3pm), as part of Grow Plymouth’s Open Studios, Megan invites you to come find out about her new project and join in with a drop-in collage session!
SUE LEWRY’S MOBILE PRINTMAKING MACHINE ‘COLOSSAL’
On Saturday 7 September (11-3pm), the artists of Grow will be opening their studios to show what goes on behind studio doors and artist-in-residence Sue Lewry will be revealing ‘Colossal’ a mobile printmaking machine in the ground floor space.
LOCAL PEOPLE SEW A KILOMETRE OF STITCHES BY HAND TO MAKE NEW ARTWORKS
Plymouth-based artists LOW PROFILE (Rachel Dobbs and Hannah Rose) have been inviting local people to join them once a month for open sewing sessions at GROW to make a series of new banners using simple patchwork and hand-quilting techniques. This month, the finished banners will go on show for the first time at an exhibition in GROW.
‘PRACTICE IN PROGRESS: TOWARDS A TRANSFORMABLE MAPPING METHODOLOGY’
Architectural researcher Leah Dinning joins us for her day residency on Friday 28 April, showcasing her Practice in Progress from her PhD at the University of Plymouth exploring the liminal nature of public space in the city.
